Agent-Readiness Checker

See your products the way AI shopping agents see them.

Enter your store. We read up to ten product pages like an agent does, then tell you three things: can agents find you, can they understand your products, and can they buy. Plus the one fix that matters most for each.

We can't find your products? Add links to them

Takes about a minute. We only read public pages, and keep reports for seven days.

How this check works
  • We read up to ten of your product pages the way an AI shopping agent first meets them: the HTML your server sends, without running scripts, logging in or buying anything.
  • We find products through your sitemap and links, follow your robots.txt, and identify ourselves as ExcuseThisReadiness.
  • Product details come from your structured data (JSON-LD or microdata), which is what agents read first.
  • Can agents find you? looks at your robots.txt rules for the search crawlers of Google, OpenAI, Anthropic and Perplexity, and for Claude-User, which fetches pages when someone asks Claude, at noindex tags, and at whether a sitemap or links lead to your products.
  • Can they understand your products? needs the basics on most products (80% or more of the ones we read): name, description, photo, price with a currency code, and stock. A Yes also needs brand, barcode or part number, size and colour labels where there are versions, shipping and returns. A rating helps but isn't required.
  • Can they buy? needs clear prices and stock, and a valid checkout profile (UCP) at /.well-known/ucp. We check the profile against the official schema (UCP 2026-08-25). No AI agent can check out on a New Zealand store yet, so stores there top out at Partly. We don't place orders.
  • One check, from one place, at one time. Stores that change prices by location or login may show other people something else.
  • We keep reports for seven days. A check of the same store from the last 24 hours may be reused.
